摘要：

An internal printed diversity antenna mounted on a PCM-CIA network card for broadband operation is presented. The antenna has a low profile of 6 mm to the network card and a small protruded length of 3 mm. The diversity antenna comprises two back-to-back dipoles, and each dipole is further comprised of a longer and a shorter radiating arms. The two radiating arms have complementary shape such as to make the antenna tend to be a self-complementary structure, thus leading to a wide operating bandwidth of similar to 4.6 GH,7 (approximately 2.9 similar to 7.5 GHz).
