摘要：

The histories of 84 consecutive orbital fracture patients presenting over a 7 year period since 1994 were reviewed with respect to their clinical features, particularly the diplopia. In this series, 31% of patients experienced diplopia on initial presentation. Diplopia resolved spontaneously within 2 months in nearly two-thirds of patients (64%), with no resolution in one-quarter. Isolated orbital floor fractures were most common (54%). Orbital repair surgery was undertaken in 59% of patients.
