The authors of this thesis are engaging in the planning, project management, and theory and methodology study of post-Wenchuan earthquake reconstruction. Considering the practical problems in the project management mode of post-quake reconstruction of housing for urban residents, elaborating the concept and characteristics of it, this thesis further analyzes the existing problems during the implementation of different post-quake urban housing reconstruction project management modes, which include maintenance and reinforcement, in-situ reconstruction, ex-situ reconstruction, reconstruction and development, and policy-based housing reconstruction, and optimally redesigns the above project management modes. This thesis also proposes supporting mechanisms for the effective enforcement of project management mode of post-quake restoration and reconstruction of housing for urban residents. All above will provide positive factors to the implementation of post-quake urban housing reconstruction project management mode, fasten the pace of urban housing reconstruction, and offer scientific and constructive suggestions to post-quake reconstruction with valuable reference.
