摘要
In this paper, the numerical modeling of 2D stretch-wrap bending is put forward. Stretch-wrap bending of a rectangular hollow section aluminum profile AA6082 (T5) is investigated numerically for both P-M and P-M-P loading modes corresponding to experiments. The agreement between the experiments and simulations is fairly good for most cases. The main tendencies in the response parameters are well represented in the simulation analysis. It is shown that local buckling phenomena occur when pre-stretching is not enough, and can be avoided by increasing pre-stretching. The cross section distortion during bending increases with increasing pre-stretching or post-stretching level, whereas springback shows a decreasing tendency.
