The dynamics of coherently driven exciton in a single quantum dot

摘要
The dynamics of coherently driven exciton dressing with phonons in a single semiconductor quantum dot is investigated theoretically in terms of the perturbation treatment based on a unitary transformation. The decoherence rate of the exciton is obtained analytically. The results show that the decoherence due to phonons strongly depends on the exciton-phonon coupling constant and the Rabi frequency of the coherently driving field and is a typical non-Markovian process.
