摘要
Radiofrequency ablation technology has been used extensively in Japan on hepatocellular carcinoma. Biloma, a major complication of other ablation therapies, such as PEI or microwave ablation, is avoided through use of RF ablation. Control of blood flow within the lesion can have a significant impact on the results of the treatment. Use of catheter techniques such as balloon inflation, or use of Doppler ultrasound in guiding localized ablation, can assist the manipulation of the lesion.
