摘要
The paper deals with the analysis of the vision of conquest of America and the concept of progress of humanity in the movies 1492: The conquest of Paradise ( 1992) by R. Scott and Even the rain (2010) by I. Bollain. One of the conclusions is that material progress do not coincide with moral progress and that the colonization has gained new forms of existence. On this basis and using the methodology of postcolonial criticism, we question the contemporary colonial subject in the movie Even the rain with emphasis on the lack of his voice and the indifference of those who que can speak for him.
