Life Cycle Cost of Bridges - Part 2-Software LZKB

The first part of the paper "Life Cycle Cost of Bridges - Part 1 - Calculation Model LZKB" contains the theoretical base for standardised calculations. In the actual following paper "Life Cycle Cost of Bridges Part 2 Software LZKB" the practical implementation of the theoretical model is described. The output of the computing can be either directly carried out on the display of the user or saved in a PDF file. In every PDF report the input data and the results summarized are displayed. An extended graphical representation also split up according to component assemblies is shown on request. The program was finished by end of 2008 and submitted to the employer in version 1.0. After a substantial period of use and possible requests for modification and extension, an evaluation and customization of the program is planned. In the next steps a guideline for the purpose of general use of the designed definitions relating to the scope of life cycle costs may be published.
