摘要
TiO2 nanoparticles have been demanded in many applications. Sol-gel chemical process is one of the easiest ways and possesses credentials to optimize optical, electrical and structural properties of the materials during the synthesis process. In this work, we present the synthesis and characterization of TiO2 nanoparticles. X-ray diffraction pattern and Raman study showed the rutile phase peaks. UV-Vis spectroscopy analysis showed the UV absorption peak at 392 nm corresponds to the band gap value 3.03 eV. The polycrystalline nature of the prepared nanoparticles is confirmed by the transmission scanning microscopy (TEM) measurement. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
