摘要
An ordered gene library of the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 was constructed. The library includes 19 recombinant cosmid contigs and 20 separate cosmid groups. All contigs and cosmid groups were mapped on a macrorestriction map of the Synechocystis chromosome. The ordered set of cosmid clones covers 95% of the genome, and a half of the genome is overlapped by six large contigs. The set allowed 59 known cyanobacterial genes to be localized more precisely at the existing physical map of Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803.
