摘要
Based on the existing research achievement, a new method of producing composite cables used for bamboo reinforced concrete (BRC) is presented. Two tests are carried out to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of these cables. The results show that, compared with conventional bamboo reinforcements, the composite bamboo cables have higher tensile strength, higher elastic modulus, and lower strength discreteness. In addition to this, the new composite cable has good capacity of waterproof and anticorrosion.
