摘要
This paper investigated the maximum ceiling temperature and equivalent single fire source induced by two fires combined with small-scale experimental data and numerical simulations. The influences of fire size and spacing on the maximum temperature expressed by the heat release rate (HRR) for two fires were considered. The results demonstrate that the experimental maximum temperatures in the tunnel are smaller than those obtained by Li's model. Accordingly, a model to describe the maximum temperature for two fires expressed by the HRR was proposed, and the change trend of the HRR ratio was analyzed. The predicted values agree well with the experimental and numerical values, verifying that the proposed model is reliable.
