摘要
Low level of electrification ratio in some areas in Indonesia can be improved and developed with alternative electric energy generation. Sebira Island is one of the islands on Kepulauan Seribu in Jakarta province which is off-grid connected from electrical power systems that comes from Java main Island so that the electricity is quite limited and it depends on diesel generators. In accordance with the development of renewable energy sources technology, the use of PV System can be considered to support the existing diesel generator. This paper presents a study of a hybrid system implementation planning as the results of optimal sizing and operational strategy of hybrid PV-Diesel-battery storage system at Sebira Island, Kepulauan Seribu for the electrical system at Sebira Island The initial design was simulated with HOMER Pro software which is then analyzed technically in PVSyst software. The most optimal design that was chosen considers levelized cost of energy (LCOE) value of the simulation results. The results of study will be compared with the existing electrical system at Sebira Island Afterwards, the results of this comparison can be used as consideration in the development of Sebira hybrid power generation system in the next few years. The study showed that the optimum system is the system with the Renewable Fraction (PV Fraction) about 70%. The study also showed thatimplementing hybrid PV-Diesel with 70% PV at Sebira Island will earn us quite much avoided cost, with lower LCOE, and also lower NPC.
