摘要
The content of extractive substances was determined in Scotch pine wood taken from the butt end and the middle and top parts of the stem. On the cross section, samples were obtained from the heart wood zone, the heart wood zone bordering with sapwood, the sapwood and the bark. Investigated stems were obtained from locations 1 km and 21 km from the Kozienice power-station and from the non-polluted environment of the Rogow forestry. The research results showed that the bark of the stems taken from the nearby power-station contained less extractive substances than the bark of the stems taken from the non-polluted environment. The content of hemicelluloses in pine wood taken from non-polluted environment is lower in sap wood than in heart wood all along the stem. Changes of content of hemicelluloses in wood obtained 1 km and 21 km away from the power-station are irregular in cross section. The content of lignin in wood obtained I km and 21 km away from the power-station is higher in comparison with the wood taken from the non-polluted environment.
