Numerical Simulation of Creep of a Thick-walled Pipe under Internal Pressure and Neutron Irradiation

摘要
Numerical simulation of deformation in structural elements under quasi-static thermal power and thermal radiation effects is the most important stage in the strength design and justification of nuclear power plants. Methods and software based on FEM for solving such problems should be reliably verified. Thermal creep is one of the deformation processes in the materials of structures subjected to thennal radiation. In the present paper, the numerical simulation of pipe deformation under thermal-force loading and neutron irradiation is performed. It is shown that the results of calculations using the original methods and software of finite element modeling of defonnation in structures under thermal radiation loads are hi good agreement with the analytical solution.
