Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Hg(II) and Cd(II) Complexes Derived from a Bis(pyridylurea) Ligand

摘要：
A bis(pyridylurea) ligand(L) was synthesized from the reaction of bis(2-aminophenyl) ether with 4-isocyanatopyridine. HgCl2 and Cd(ClO4)(2) reacted with L to give two coordination polymers {[Hg(L)Cl-2]center dot 2DMF}(n), (1) and {[Cd(L)(2)(H2O)(2)](ClO4)(2)center dot 4DMF center dot 2H(2)O center dot 2CH(3)OH}(n) (2), respectively. The ligand was characterized by H-1 NMR, MS, FTIR, and elemental analysis. The structures of the ligand and two complexes were analyzed via single crystal X-ray diffraction, and the structural analysis indicated that both complexes show a one-dimensional chain structure. Their thermal stabilities and vapor adsorptions for MeOH were further investigated. CCDC: 1588599, L; 1588600, 1; 1588601, 2.
