摘要：

A three-component one-pot condensation of aryl aldehydes, 4-hydroxy-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-one and acetamide catalysed by p-toluenesulfonic acid (p-TSA), under ultrasound irradiation and ambient conditions, gives 3-[(acetamido)(aryl)methyl]-4-hydroxy-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-ones in excellent yield and in short time.
