摘要
In this present study, phytosynthesis of copper nanoparticles using flower extract of Aloe vera has been studied. The aqueous copper ions when exposed to flowers extract were reduced Cu2+ to Cu-0 and resulted in their nanoparticles. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using UV-Vis spectrometer, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The presence of an absorption peak at 578nm using spectrometer confirms the formation of Cu nanoparticles. The shape and morphology of copper nanoparticles were studied by FESEM analysis. FTIR showed possible involvement of reductive groups on the surfaces of nanoparticles.
