摘要
Various wireless communication technologies are studied, which enable wide variety of applications for road safety and traffic efficiency. In those applications, especially for the road safety, continuous and seamless connectivity is a significant factor to provide planned services. Therefore, heterogeneous wireless access has become an ordinary technique in the future communication systems to obtain the continuity. The devices using multiple radio access technologies shall need an algorithm to distinguish the optimal interface in each conditions. This paper suggests an intelligent interface selection scheme for the multi-interface terminal that is providing two of the most viable communication standards for vehicular communication - LTE and IEEE 802.11p.
