摘要
The increasing rate of survival of extremely low birth-weight (ELBW) newborns raises many questions. The purpose of the study is to judge the late outcome of this risk group of newborns. The authors investigated the influences of neonatal factors and early neurological injuries on late outcome of this high-risk patients. The correlation between the early neurological injuries and handicaps is strong but not obligate in every cases, the early developmental training can correct the severity of outcome.
