摘要
The rapid rate of innovation and changes in products and technologies ask for the capacity of the workforce to be flexible more than ever. Knowledge has become the most valuable asset and, thus, highly educated and well-trained people represent key resources of the firms. The relationship between knowledge workers and employers in the knowledge economy has become a key area of interest for firms, policy makers, and, primarily, academics. The paper deals with the results of the first-order survey of flexible work arrangements for key (core) workers implemented in knowledge-intensive firms in Slovakia and compares the data with the trends identified in Europe.
