摘要：

This paper mainly analyses first the costs in mass customization (MC) production. After introducing the notion of MC, we explain some concepts of the cost, which will contribute to use later. We present two formulas about the cost under two distinct circumstances, and draw the relationship between the cost in mass customization and other relevant factors. At last, we give five recommendations on how to reduce customization cost.
