摘要
Since construction is a traditional labor-intensive industry and usually managed by project-center approaches, there are so many participants in a construction project that they have formed complex management relationships in a construction project. So it is difficult to evaluate the management performance of construction projects in the methodology of system engineering. This paper presents a systematic concept model of construction project management system and a framework for evaluating comprehensive management performance of construction projects. First of all, a concept model of construction project system with typical participants is recognized based on fuzzy cognition map. And then the reachable matrix in construction project management is derived through adjacency matrix and relevant reachable matrix, and by eliminating unknown relationships. On consideration of complex construction project circumstance, a tentative systematic framework for evaluating construction project management performance is proposed in the end through systematic concept model and reachable matrix. This framework is an innovative model and also a systematic approach for evaluating comprehensive construction project management performance in the view of system engineering. Further construction project management experiences will be applied in future research, which could help to improve construction management performance.
