摘要
Creative industries complement the knowledge and creativity economy and have been deemed the core of the service economy. Creative industries sector, distinguished by its active performance in the area of innovation, is a leader in creating innovative business models and new consumer-involvement strategies. Creative industry enterprises face more complex market conditions and usually take place in very small firms, which are based on continuous networking and diverse managerial practices and models. The market of creative industries' goods is constantly changing and is unpredictable, therefore managerial practices are being constantly developed. The enterprises of creative industries need more creativity than traditional businesses, as they need to meet the requirements in order to create an original product, whose nature must be different from previously produced products. The article analyses various business process improvement methods such as LEAN (PDCA), Theory of Constraints (TOC), Six Sigma (DMADV and DMAIC). The strengths and weaknesses of these methods are identified to improve the creative industries enterprises development. Continuous improvement model for creative industries enterprises was developed and presented in the article.
