During the past decodes physiotherapy and rehabilitation as integral parts of the management of multiple sclerosis have increased expectancy and quality of life for most people suffering from this chronic disease. An important goal of medical and social rehabilitation is to maintain mobility and working capacity. This can only be accomplished with teamwork between patient, medical staff and physiotherapist.
