Positioning error of the worm-gear-set under suddenly implied high torque

摘要
The influence of frictional force between gear teeth and elastic deformation of gear teeth can not be neglected when a precision worm and worm gear set under high torsion. These influences will make the system error large enough for system request accurate rotational orientation. The goal of this study is to set up a mathematic model to analyze the dynamic of worm gear set. The results compare with the results of experiment.
