Synthesis of Blue Long-Lasting Phosphorescent Material Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+ by Coprecipitation Method

摘要
Blue long-lasting phosphorescent materials with high brightness, Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+, were prepared by coprecipitation method. The products were characterized by XRD, phosphorescent spectra and thermoluminescence spectra. The results of XRD indicated that Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+ possessed pure phase, tetragonal crystal structure. The excitation spectrum (lambda(em)=467 nm) and emission spectrum(lambda(ex)=399 nm) of Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+ were broad band spectra, and the main excitation peaked at 399 nm, the main emission at 467 nm. The luminescent properties were the best for the as-precipitated precursor powders calcined at 1050 degrees C. The thermoluminescence spectra peaked at 357 K, which is suitable for the generation of long-lasting phosphorescence. The long-lasting phosphorescence mechanism of Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+ is discussed.
