摘要
(Chemical Equation Presented) Biosilica structures containing foreign proteins with desired functionalities can be generated by a molecular genetic method. An enzyme immobilized in diatom silica was found to display better activity than purified hydroxylaminobenzene mutase in solution. Such immobilized active biomolecules may find application for the fabrication of sensor materials and reusable catalysts. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
