摘要
This paper proposes a dipole-array assisted Doppler spread compensator for mobile digital terrestrial television broadcasting receiver. Since the horizontal polarization is used for terrestrial television broadcasting in Japan, the horizontally polarized dipole-array gives better performance than the conventional monopole-array. Furthermore, the proposed array can be put on the side window of the vehicle, while the monopole-array should be attached on top of the vehicle. This paper analyzes the optimum dipole array antenna spacing to minimize the bit error rate performance by computer simulation. The result shows the proposed array antenna assisted Doppler spread compensator gives the comparable performance with the ideal compensator.
