摘要
The first person effects of evidentiality refer to the speaker's preference to use a non-firsthand or non-visual evidential to gain a range of additional meanings. As in Uyghur, The first person effects of evidentiality are primarily demonstrated in the speaker's use of an indirect evidential for marking an indirect inference or a reported rumour, thereby express some kind of unconsciousness of the speaker. This effect can be explained from the dimensions of delayed cognitive realization and conceptual distance.
