摘要：

An overview is given of all the literature examples of the synthesis and reactions of CPAs. Although the total number of CPA-related references was only 14 up until 1980, about 20 papers have been published in the 1980s, and over 70 papers after 1990. The initial interest in CPAs exclusively focused on the chemistry related to cyclopropenones. After being a subject of study for a long time, the literature on CPAs now covers a variety of fields, extending to organometallic, inorganic, and bioorganic chemistry.
