RECENT RESULTS ON CENTRAL EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION WITH THE STAR DETECTOR AT RHIC

摘要
We present preliminary differential fiducial cross sections on Central Exclusive Production (CEP, pp -> pXp) of two opposite-charge mesons (X = pi(+)pi(-), K+K-) in midrapidity region with small squared four-momentum transferred from forward protons (t(1), t(2)), 0.03 GeV2 < vertical bar t(1)(,2)vertical bar < 0.2 GeV2. The process was measured in the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in proton-proton collisions at the center-ofmass energy root s = 200 GeV.
