The Enlightenment of Ancient Literary Works to Contemporary Literary Works

Literature and art have been popular in China since ancient times, such as the classic of mountains and seas and other works have become the people's population rich in myths and legends of the book, during which the popular myths and fables as well as the geographical knowledge of folklore left a unique treasure of art to future generations. There are a large number of such myths, legends and fables in China, most of which have the same effect. The legendary colors rendered by the author have aroused readers' interest in reading and attracted many readers. Novels, essays, poems and plays in contemporary literature have all been influenced by such imaginative and compelling mythological fables, which enable ancient literature to continue in contemporary literature, and ancient literature has also influenced the continuation direction of contemporary literature. Taking ancient literature and mythological fables as the core and the enlightenment of ancient literature and mythological fables on contemporary literature as the starting point, this paper analyzes from the aspects of novels, essays, poems and dramas in contemporary literature and reveals the significance of ancient literature to contemporary literature.
