摘要
The tuning and switching of the wavelength laser emissions in optical fiber laser were experimentally analyzed and demonstrated. The tuning and switching of the laser were implemented by using a Mach-Zehnder inter-ferometer as a filter, which is based on two tapers separated by distance L. The interferometer with several distances, L is used as an intracavity filter for wavelength selection and laser emission. When the straight interferometer is bent with a curvature radius of 248.54 mm (4 x 10(-3) 1/mm), its filtering wavelength-dependent losses change, causing an adjustment in the emissions to switch or move in wavelength. The wave-length emissions are tuned in the range from 1527 nm to 1563 nm with linear factors ranging from 0.26 to 2.21 nm over displacement bending in the range of millimeters. Additionally, with the help of the interferometer, the laser can emit simultaneous laser line emissions, starting from one to four, which propitiates the laser switching emission. The stability of the laser was also discussed.
