FTIR study of a silver-thiourea complex generated in argon and nitrogen cryogenic matrices

摘要
FTIR analysis of Ar and N-2 cryogenic matrices doped with thiourea and silver atoms show the generation of a sulfur coordinated complex, which has most likely the Ag[CS(NH2)(2)] formula in view of the experimental conditions used. Frequency shifts are discussed and compared to those observed for thiourea adsorbed on rough silver surface. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
