摘要
A new iron-cobalt-lead phosphate was prepared and studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystals were grown from a molten mixture and the structure was solved using the direct method. This novel orthophosphate crystallizes in the structure type of the mineral langbeinite (cubic system, sp. gr. P213, Z = 4) with the cell parameter a = 9.7933(2) angstrom. The crystal framework is constructed from isolated octahedra [MO6] and tetrahedra [PO4] connected via vertices. The structure of this compound is characterized by a disorder in the Pb2+ sites, which are located in the large cavities of the structure. Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
