摘要
Fusinite is one of the major macerals of coals. The hydrocarbon-generation potential and the amount of fusinite can influence the evaluation of oils and gases from coal. In this paper, Rock-Eval and Py-Gc were used to study the hydrocarbon-generation potential, the hydrocarbon composition, hydrocarbon-generation mechanism and thermoevolutional characteristics of fusinite from Tertiary Period coals in Fanshi basin, Shanxi Province. The results indicate that fusinite has lower hydrocarbon-generation potential and hydrocarbon index; light hydrocarbon and wet gas are the main composition of hydrocarbon; fusinite has two hydrocarbon generation peak, one is at 420 degrees C similar to 450 degrees C(VR0 is 1. 1%), another is at 450 degrees C similar to 500 degrees C(VR0 is 2. 0%); the temperature range of hydrocarbon producting of fusinite is wider than that for barkinite, this characteristic is unfavourable for hydrocarbon gathering from coal etc. In one word, fusinite has fewer contribution to hydrocarbon from coal.
