TUTORING EXPERIENCES ABOUT THE IMPROVEMENT COURSE IN EDUCATION, POVERTY AND SOCIAL INEQUALITY

摘要
In this space, we will report remarkable moments that occurred during the tutoring work of three classes of the Improvement Course in Education, Poverty and Social Inequality, offered by the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). We observed two classes from the Araguaina - TO pole and one from Palmas - TO. The relationship between poverty and education was discussed in order to reconstruct new educational practices demanded by subjects in poverty and extreme poverty; the relationship between poverty, citizenship and democracy, especially in their social and political aspects and articulations between poverty and curriculum, problematizing values, knowledge and identities. The desire to report these memories came, especially, at the end of the course, when we received positive feedbacks that made us reflect that, despite all the difficulties, it was worth a lot of the work.
