摘要
Functional status, tolerance to physical exercise and quality of life were evaluated in 57 patients with chronic heart failure and echocardiographical signs of systolic and diastolic dysfunction of the heart, According to all parameters used in the study patients with "restrictive" type of diastolic dysfunction had more severe course of heart failure. In this group functional class, 6 minutes walking distance and total index of quality of life correlated more closely with parameters of left ventricular diastolic filling compared to parameters of its systolic function. Thus with development of "restrictive" type of diastolic filling left ventricular remodeling reaches the stage when severity of the patients clinical condition is determined mostly by the state of diastolic function of the heart.
