Study on Development Obstacles of Chinese Financing Lease

Chinese financing lease, originated from the early stage of reform and opening-up in the 1980s, has begun to take the industry scale now after more than 30 years of development. However, there are also many obstacles in the process of development, including the lack of long-term and stable fund sources, confusing regulation, faithless lesseeenterprise, single business model, lack of professional talents and so on, which mainly caused by the following reasons: firstly, the unsound legal system and lack of special laws; secondly, the slow growth in financial market and poor credit; thirdly, the complex tax policy and heavy tax burden. For these reasons, it is suggested that the breakthrough is conducted from the following four aspects to remove obstacles and promote a rapid and healthy development of the Chinese financial leasing: 1. To quicken the construction and perfection of relevant laws; 2. To establish a unified regulatory system; 3. To actively broaden the financing channels; 4. To accelerate the training of specialized talents.
