摘要
Silicalite/mordenite hybrid disc-shaped self-supporting membrane was synthesized from layered silicate such as kanemite by using solid state transformation. Mechanical strength (compression strength) of the disc showed over 10kg/cm(3). Large differences in morphology and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio between both sides of the membrane were observed. The upper side (silicalite-side) of the membrane was made up of intergrowths of prism-like crystal morphology (ca. 1-2mum), the down side (mordenite-side) was composed of scale-like crystals (ca. >1 mum). The SiO2/Al2O3 ratios for upper and down sides of the disc were <600 and 15, respectively. The XRD patterns were comparable to silicalite and mordenite structure.
