摘要
The effect of magnetic field parameter H, rotation parameter X and couple stress parameter R on propagation of shear waves in an anisotropic, thinly layered laminated medium is explored. The frequency equation for the problem has been derived to determine the velocity of the shear waves using linear inhomogeneties. The numerical computation for different values of rigidity parameter A, density parameter C, = = = anisotropic factor N, initial stress parameter P, magnetic field parameter H couple stress parameter R and wave number has been made and the results are shown graphically using MATLAB. The results indicate that the effects of initial stress, magnetic field, anisotropy, couple stress and rotation are very pronounced. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
