摘要
Some strength and conditioning practitioners attempt to target important aspects of a sport when creating training programs for their athletes so to prepare the athletes for the specific requirements of their sport. This can be a difficult task when working with team sport athletes, as the physical demands may not be clearly evident by watching a single game. Through time-motion analysis (TMA), practitioners may be better able to develop more specific training programs for their athletes. This article seeks to illustrate the utility of TMA but also to identify factors that may affect the validity and reliability of this technique.
