摘要
The irreversible deformability nature of polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEMU) was investigated. The deformability was affected by the desiccation process of the multilayers, which closely associates with inner structure. It was observed that the compression varies from several to hundreds of nanometers following a positive correlation with the multilayer thickness. The microstructure of PEMU shows intrinsic properties such as permeability, wettability and surface morphology.
