摘要
This research aims to compose an environmental management strategy/model in mangrove rehabilitation program capable of sustaining methods of implementation that effectively handle the damage of mangrove and continuous abrasion occurring in the northern coastal areas of Central Java. Study case method was comprehensively done by using SWOT analysis and AHP in the region of Brebes, Pemalang, and Demak during rainy season. The conclusion of this study revealed that, general physical condition of the coastline in the northern coast of Central Java has been damaged due to abrasion/erosion and accretion, building jutting into the sea, sea level rise, changes in coastal border functions, and also the effects of global warming. For the rehabilitation of ecosystems must consider some basic principles that prioritizes ecological rehabilitation, provide guidance to the public beach, doing physical rehabilitation based on the rules and live familiar with the ecosystem.
