The experiment was carried out under lath condition of the Medical Plants Unit / College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences - University of Baghdad for the spring season of 2017 to improve the quantitative and qualitative production of medicinally active compounds for Aloe vera by using dry yeast suspension and growth regulators. Salicylic acid (100, 200 mg.L-1), Kinetin (50, 100 mg.L-1) and yeast suspension (5, 10 gm.L-1) were used as well as control treatment (distilled water spraying only). The experiment was carried out according to RCBD design in three replicates. The results showed the positive effect of most of the study factors. Salicylic acid spraying (100 mg.L-1) gave the highest significant values in plant height (58.00 cm), the number of leaves (8.69 leave.plants(-1)), leaf width, length and thickness (4.82, 56.93 cm, and 2.15 mm respectively). The concentration (5 gm.L-1) of dry yeast suspension gave the highest significant values of plant height (58.44 cm), number of leaves (8.71 leave.plants(-1)), leaves width (2.84 cm), leave thickness (2.2 mm) and leave length (57.5 cm). Significant effect was achieved for the kinetin (with no significant difference between the two concentrations) in plant height (56.81, 56.57 cm), number of leaves (7.23, 7.29 leave.plants(-1)), leave width (4.68, 4.63 cm), length of leaf (55.27, 56.51 cm). The results showed that the treatment S2K2Y2 gave the higher percentage of carbohydrate increasing (14.45%). The treatment S2K2Y1 exceeded in the nutrients by giving the highest nitrogen content (1.337%), the highest potassium (1,872%) and the highest phosphorus at S2K2Y2 (0.277%). For active compounds, the treatments S2K2Y1 and S2K2Y2 were higher in intron ratio (10.33, 10.83 mu g. gm(-1)) respectively. S2K2Y1, S2K1Y1 and S2K2Y2 were higher with 31.57, 31.20 and 31.45 mu g. gm(-1) respectively.
