摘要
In this paper, a novel and low-cost self-oscillating mixer is proposed at 24GHz. Different from conventional designs, radio frequency (RF) signal is mixed with the signal generated by fundamental oscillating of the designed circuit. Besides, the oscillation frequency of the designed circuit can be tuned by voltage without any extra component. Based on microstrip line technology, the circuit, implemented as a down-converter, exhibits an average conversion gain of 2.2dB. The output P-1dB gain compression and bandwidth are measured.
