On the temperature dependence of thermal expansivity of NaCl crystal

摘要
Applicability of the formula derived by Anderson er al. [Rev. Geophys,, 30 (1992), 57] has been investigated for the temperature dependence of thermal expansivity of NaCl crystal in the temperature range 294-766 K. Thermodynamic approximations used in the derivation are analysed. The results are found to be in good agreement with the experimental values.
