摘要
Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) is one of the most promising alternatives for petro-chemical-based plastics. Crystallization mediation provides the simplest and most practical approach for enhancing the properties of PLA. Here, recent advances in understanding the relationship between crystalline structure and properties of PLA are summarized. Methods for manipulating crystallization towards high-performance PLA materials are introduced.
