Computer simulation of growth and coarsening of Laves phase in a modified 12% chromium steel

摘要
The growth and coarsening of Laves phase at 600 and 650degreesC in a modified 12% chromium steel was simulated. The simulation, which was carried out with the program package DICTRA, is based on the assumption that thermodynamic equilibrium is established locally at the moving phase interface. The diffusion data was taken from a multicomponent diffusion data bank, MOB. The simulations were compared with experiments and the agreement between simulation and experiments is good.
